Part 1 of a documentary of a wind farm operating in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania. This film is useful to watch because the topography is similar to the topography in Stamford, and the turbines are close to the size that Invenergy is proposing. This wind farm was completed in 2001, and this film consists of interviews with residents who have been living with the turbines for 5 years.

This is a digital transcription of a videotape of the giant wind turbines in the Tug Hill region of upstate New York (between Lake Ontario and the Adirondacks). The tape was shot and narrated by Sue and Bud Gladstone of Andes in Delaware County, New York.
These wind turbine models are based on Horizon Wind's 2006 wind overlay map for Arkwright, NY with 1200ft setback from houses, and 500 setback from roads. The 48 turbines depicted in the video are within 15% of real, estimated dimensions, relative to the topological data. This video simulation was *not* created in cooperation with Horizon Wind.
